Kent and the mysterious melon

I planted many things this year (without much success). One plant we did not plant were cantalopes. However, somehow a melon is growing (and flourishing) in our front yard. We think that this is a cantalope. I think that maybe once this summer I bought a cantalope. I guess it is possible that one of the kids dropped a seed in our front yard. Not sure. All we know is that there is a melon that wasn't there last year and that we didn't plant it. It's a melon mystery.
