Maeve is 7!

Maeve Robin Rose is 7! I can't believe it. Maeve continues to amaze us and make us laugh everyday. She is simultaneously a dreamer and one of the most pragmatic people I know.  She is always making plans (mostly parties for her dolls) and telling stories. We just had a conference with her teacher and her teacher said that Maeve is by far the farthest along in math of all the first graders in her class (her class is 1st-3rd). She is also reading at an end of 2nd grade level. The only thing Maeve needs to work on is being gentle with what she says to people. Her teacher says she is a little "blunt". Maeve's biggest strengths are: soccer (she is simply amazing on the field), writing stories (not so much penmanship and spelling though), and her sense of humor (we love that she can laugh at herself). She likes American girl dolls, Monster high dolls, My Little Pony, party planning, tomatoes, salami, cheese, holidays, and her family. Maeve is one tough, strong, athletic, smart, creative girl and we are so proud of her.
