Sloane's first time looking for a Christmas tree. She was in a good mood for most of the experience.

 Maeve and I went on a hayride. It was lovely.

  Kent went in the hay-maze. He got hay on his hat.

 The trees were really picked over and kind of puny. But, hey a free tree is a free tree.

 Kent and I had a disagreement about him wearing gloves. At least he wore one.

 Yes! I got a picture with all three of them with Santa and I didn't have to spend any money or stand in a long line! Yay! I don't even care that Santa's eyes were closed.  I overheard the kids whispering that he didn't look like the real Santa.  Oh well. When he asked the kids what they wanted Maeve shyly said "American Girl Doll Stuff" and Kent refused to say anything and couldn't get away from Santa quick enough. Later he regretted that because he missed out on getting a candy cane

 Love those eyes.

I was pushing back my hair and Kent took a picture.  This is about as full as my hair ever looks.

 Maeve was sure there was probably poop in the hay.  She sat on my lap for most of the ride.
