Pinnacle Mountain!

It had been a while since we had gone on a family hike.  I looked up what state park was the shortest distance from home that we hadn't visited yet.  We ended up at Pinnacle Mountain State Park which is just outside Little Rock. We had a quick picnic lunch when we arrived and then we hiked three miles on the Base trail.  Maeve (dressed as her alter ego, Jacob) had to be carried a lot of the way and complained quite a bit.  Kent, however, had a great time admiring the rocks and trying to carry as much quartz as he could fit in his pockets.
