Maeve and her "manoes"

Here Maeve is looking longingly at the gallon of tomatoes Patrick just picked out of our garden.  Patrick is in the garden trying to tame the crazy tomato plants. Usually I am the gardener,but I neglected to put cages around the tomato plants and they grew out of control and Patrick had to help out.



This is from just one morning!  We were really successful with tomatoes this year. I learned from last year that they tomatoes got too hot and wouldn't produce fruit. This year I planted the tomatoes really early (mid March) and planted only Early Girl Tomatoes.

Since Maeve was a baby she has LOVED tomatoes.  She is very happy that our crop has been so successful.

Look who I found eating tomatoes naked in the garden, AGAIN! This is why Maeve never eats at meals. She fills up on tomatoes out of the garden.  Last year we had Tomato Horn Worms eating our tomato plants. This year we have Maeve.  Yes those are tomato seeds all over her face!
