Maeve was wonderful when I had to take her with me to finish cleaning my classroom and do some last minute paperwork. I told her that because she was so great we could go on a picnic. We decided on the BEACH! I love the fact that we can decide to go to the beach and then be there 15 minutes later!
Maeve helped me write a list of things that we wanted to take on the picnic. She is such a little organizer.
This was the spot that she decided we should have our picnic.
We had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, pretzels, cherries and nectarines. We shared water out of her water bottle.
Her sandy tootsies...
It got a little windy and she borrowed my sweater.
Maeve trying to get water in her pail without getting wet....
She wasn't successful in staying dry. She was soaking wet by the time we left. She took her pants off in the car and rode home in her underwear.
This is my new favorite picture of Maeve. I love how the sand is falling into the pail.
One of the many "castles".
I have a feeling that there will be many beach outings this summer!
